Delta Reign Release Date, Products, and Where to Buy at MSRP (US)

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign hits store shelves on Friday, November 6, 2026. If you want it at retail price instead of resale, this guide gives you the confirmed dates, the products that have actually been announced, what they should cost, and a realistic plan for each kind of store.

Everything below is sourced at the bottom of the page. For other releases through February 2027, see our Pokémon TCG release calendar. Anything not confirmed by The Pokémon Company is labeled as reported.

Delta Reign key dates

What Date Status
Prerelease events at participating stores Starting Saturday, Oct 24, 2026 Official
Pokémon TCG Live (digital) Thursday, Nov 5, 2026 Official
Retail release Friday, Nov 6, 2026 Official

The Pokémon Company announced the set on August 20, 2026, and said it will be "available at participating retailers around the world beginning Nov. 6, 2026."

What's in the set

According to Pokemon.com and the official press release, Delta Reign has over 135 cards. It brings back Mega Rayquaza ex for the first time since XY—Ancient Origins, alongside Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex. The official highlights:

Legendary Stadiums are the new mechanic. Two Stadium cards are played as a pair and make one extended artwork when placed side by side. Per the press release, a booster pack that contains a Legendary Stadium includes both halves.

Confirmed Delta Reign products and MSRPs

The Pokémon Company's own wording is that Delta Reign comes in "booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and various collections." It has also detailed the Build & Battle Box. For the rest of the lineup, TCGplayer's Delta Reign Quick Facts page (updated Oct 21, 2026) is the most complete reputable list we found.

Product What's inside MSRP
Elite Trainer Box 9 booster packs, promo, accessories $49.99 (TCGplayer)
Booster Bundle 6 booster packs $26.94 (TCGplayer)
Build & Battle Box 40-card ready-to-play deck, 4 booster packs, 1 of 4 foil promos $21.99 (TCGplayer)
Booster box (display) 36 booster packs Not listed; mostly sold through local game stores
Blisters (3-pack, single-pack, Checklane, Target-exclusive single) Packs, promos, some with a coin Not listed

A Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box has also been reported by retailers, with 11 packs instead of 9. As with past sets, expect it to be sold only at Pokémon Center.

How to use these numbers: if a listing is far above MSRP, it's resale, not a restock. Retailers sometimes round prices or bundle tax differently, so a dollar or two either way is normal. Twice the price is not.

Delta Reign prerelease: how it works

Prereleases are the most overlooked way to get Delta Reign early, and often the least stressful.

Where and when

Starting October 24, 2026, select Play! Pokémon stores (independent game stores, not big-box chains) run Prerelease events. Find one with the official Play! Pokémon Event Locator on Pokemon.com. Then call or message the store, because entry fees, start times, and seat limits are set by each store.

What you get

Each Prerelease uses the Build & Battle Box. According to Pokemon.com, it includes:

You play a shorter format: 40-card decks and four Prize cards instead of 60 and six. Many stores add bonus packs for playing or winning, but that's up to the store. Don't count on it.

Never played? Go anyway

Prerelease events are built for newcomers. The deck is already built, the games are quick, and staff usually walk new players through it. If you just want the promo and packs, ask the store whether they sell Build & Battle Boxes without entering the event. Pokemon.com says the boxes will also be sold in general retail when the set launches on Nov 6.

Where to buy Delta Reign at MSRP in the US

No store can promise you stock. Here's what to expect from each type of store and how to give yourself the best shot.

Local game stores (LGS)

Your best bet for a fair price, and the only real home for booster boxes. Ask about preorders now, before release week. Many stores hold product for regulars and event players.

Pokémon Center (online)

Pokémon Center sells the exclusive ETB and uses a virtual queue during high traffic. Its support page says to keep the queue window open, don't refresh, and that opening multiple tabs won't get you in faster. Purchase limits are shown on each product page. Waiting in line doesn't guarantee there's stock left when you get in.

Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and GameStop

The Nov 6 traffic jam: plan ahead

Delta Reign doesn't launch alone. Three 30th Celebration products also come out on November 6: the Ultra-Premium Collections (Day and Night), the Ditto Premium Collection, and the Figure Collections (Mew and Mewtwo). Expect busy sites and empty pegs that morning.

A simple plan:

  1. Pick your one or two must-haves and write down your max price, which should be MSRP.
  2. Log in everywhere the night before, with your address and payment saved. Pokémon Center notes autofill can cause checkout problems, so double-check fields.
  3. Choose one or two stores to focus on rather than chasing all of them.
  4. Don't panic-buy resale in week one. Restocks are never guaranteed, but new sets often get more than one shipment.

FAQ

When does Delta Reign come out? Friday, November 6, 2026 at retail. Prereleases begin October 24, and TCG Live gets it November 5.

How much is the Delta Reign ETB? $49.99 MSRP for the standard Elite Trainer Box, per TCGplayer.

Can I buy Delta Reign before November 6? Only through Prerelease events at participating stores (from Oct 24), or preorders that ship by release day. Be wary of anyone selling "sealed" product early. See how to spot fake or resealed packs.

Is there a Delta Reign booster box? Yes, a 36-pack display, sold mainly through local game stores.
